Adult Day Services

At Parkview Home, we have the opportunity to offer a day program for adults who are in need of assistance with their activities of daily living and/or require supervision for safety. This program is committed to providing participants with an individualized plan of care to promote their optimal level of functioning. Our goal is to prevent premature placement into the long-term care setting by providing personal care assistance, peer socialization, and caregiver respite. Additional services available under the Adult Day Services Program include:

  • Medication Administration (includes IV med administration, dressing changes, injections, or other skilled nursing services)
  • Bathing and personal cares (large whirlpool tubs, walk-in showers, nail trims)

For more information or to arrange Adult Day Services, please contact us or call Sue Nelson or Wendy Decknatel at 507-938-4151.

Short-Term Rehabilitation
Parkview Home offers to the community and surrounding areas a short-term rehab program to those requiring a short stay following a surgery or illness.  This program can be used to help a resident regain strength and ability to return to their home through therapies and may also be used for IV therapy as well (coming soon).  Under the direction of your physician, the staff of the Aegis Therapy will evaluate and treat you with an individualized plan to improve your well being.  We have remodeled and refurnished four private rooms to be used for these short-term stays.  Use of these rooms is similar to a “swing bed” arrangement in the hospital setting, however are meant to provide a more comfortable and home-like environment.   These rooms are also located in the same hallway as the therapy department.   Each room includes:

  •    A view of the Belview City Park
  •    Wi-Fi
  •    Cable television
  •    Night stand
  •    Bedside table
  •    Upholstered chair
  •    Upholstered recliner/rocker
  •    Hydraulic bed with wooden headboard and footboard

For more information or to arrange a tour and/or services before your surgery, please contact us or call Sue Nelson or Wendy Decknatel at 507-938-4151.
